GenAI Literacy Workshop Facilitator

At AI for Education, our mission is to provide AI literacy training to 1 million educators and lead the responsible adoption of Generative AI in the education ecosystem, empowering teachers and ultimately improving student outcomes while preparing them for the future. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a full-time GenAI Literacy Workshop Facilitator to join our team.

Position Overview:

The GenAI Workshop Facilitator will be instrumental in leading our professional development initiatives, ensuring educators are well-equipped and confident in integrating GenAI into their teaching practices and curricula. This role will collaborate closely with our CEO and team to deliver high-impact GenAI literacy workshops tailored to diverse education stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Facilitation and Delivery:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate dynamic and interactive GenAI workshops for educators at various professional levels.
• Customize workshop materials to suit the specific needs and contexts of the participating institutions and educators.
• Gather and incorporate feedback post-workshop to continuously refine the content and delivery methods.

Continuous Learning & Development:

• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the GenAI education space.
• Participate in internal professional development sessions and contribute to the team’s collective knowledge base.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education. Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching and leadership experience at the K12 or HE level
• Proven experience in facilitating workshops, training sessions, or professional development programs.
• Strong understanding of GenAI concepts and their relevance in the education domain.
• Ability to convey complex AI topics in an engaging and understandable manner to diverse audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering a human-centered, ethical approach to AI in education.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time and adapt to different workshop environments.

Salary

$90,000 – $115,000 per year
